1. Enrolment and Payment
1.1. Students must complete an enrolment / registration form and provide necessary identification.
1.2. Full payment for the course must be made prior to the commencement of the first lesson. Payment plans may be available upon request.
2. Cancellation and Rescheduling
2.1. Cancellations or rescheduling of lessons must be made at least 24 hours in advance.
2.2. A fee of $50 / hour may apply for cancellations or rescheduling made with less than 24 hours’ notice or no-show.
2.3. If an unforeseen circumstance arises, such as a death in the family and a student misses a lesson, the student will not be charged. If there are no extenuating circumstances, in-car appointment cancellations made with less than 24 hours notice are subject to be forfeited.
2.4. The driving school reserves the right to cancel or reschedule lessons due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., instructor illness, vehicle issues, weather conditions).
3. Attendance and Punctuality
3.1. Students are expected to attend all scheduled lessons punctually.
3.2. Late arrivals may result in a shortened lesson, and repeated tardiness may lead to additional charges or termination of enrolment.
3.3. Students are responsible for having their learners license (G1), eyeglasses or contacts at all times during the training and road test.
4. Conduct and Behaviour
4.1. Students must behave respectfully towards instructors, staff, and other students.
4.2. Aggressive, abusive, or inappropriate behaviour will not be tolerated and may result in immediate termination of enrolment without a refund.
5. Vehicle Use
5.1. The driving school provides vehicles for lessons; students must treat these vehicles with care.
5.2. Any damage caused to the vehicle due to negligence or misconduct will be the financial responsibility of the student.
6. Safety and Compliance
6.1. Students must comply with all traffic laws and instructor directions during lessons.
6.2. Any unsafe behaviour or violation of traffic laws may result in the termination of the lesson and/or the course in general.
7. Refunds
7.1. Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis and may be subject to administrative fees within 30 days of the initial sign-up.
7.2. Absolutely no refunds will be considered or entertained after 30 days from the initial sign-up.
7.3. No refunds will be provided for lessons already taken.
8. Privacy
8.1. The driving school respects student privacy and will not share personal information without consent.
8.2. Personal information will be used solely for the purpose of providing driving instruction and related administrative tasks.
9. Certification
9.1. The complete course (theoretical part (online, virtual, in classroom) hours and in car driving hours) must be completed within 365 days from the day the student start the course.
9.2. Completion of the course does not guarantee passing the driving test.
9.3. The driving school provides instruction and support, but the student is responsible for preparing adequately for the driving test.
9.4. The certificate may be denied by the school due to the following reasons: A) Failure to successfully complete the required hours within one year. B) Failing the in-class test, and or the in-car evaluation, or both conducted by the school at the end of the course
9.5. The minimum passing mark is 70% (Online, virtual, in-class) assignments/quizzes/ tests and In-car final evaluation.
9.6. The student will be certified online electronically upon course. Ontario driving schools are not able to issue drivers licence certificates. Instead, students must request a driver’s licence history (DLH) from Service Ontario ($12).
9.7. We do not honour any services after 364 days in any of the programs.
10. Amendments
10.1. The driving school reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time.
10.2. Students will be notified of any significant changes to the terms and conditions.
Policy of Behaviour
1. Respect and Courtesy
1.1. Students are expected to show respect and courtesy to instructors, staff, and fellow students at all times.
1.2. Offensive language, aggressive behaviour, or harassment of any kind will not be tolerated.
2. Responsibility
2.1. Students must take responsibility for their learning and actively participate in lessons.
2.2. Students should arrive prepared, with any necessary materials, and ready to learn.
3. Safety First
3.1. Safety is a top priority; students must follow all safety guidelines and instructor directions.
3.2. Any behaviour that compromises safety will be addressed immediately and may result in the termination of the lesson.
4. Honesty and Integrity
4.1. Students must act with honesty and integrity in all interactions.
4.2. Cheating, lying, or any form of dishonesty will result in disciplinary action.
5. Substance Use
5.1. The use of alcohol or drugs before or during lessons is strictly prohibited.
5.2. Any suspicion of substance use will result in the immediate termination of the lesson and possible termination of enrolment.
6. Communication
6.1. Open and honest communication is encouraged between students and instructors.
6.2. Any concerns or issues should be raised promptly to ensure they are addressed effectively.
By enrolling in the driving school, students agree to abide by these terms and conditions and the policy of behaviour. The driving school is committed to providing a safe and supportive learning environment for all students.
